Being on a desert island can be tough unless you have a home that can utilize all the inherent environmental elements. Wind and sun allow unlimited power and water for the home, while the white aluminum roof collects precious rain water for future and daily use. The design was inspired by the early “dog trot” homes developed in the 19th century, to capture gentle ocean breezes and provide shade from the hot midday sun. Any pirate would be happy to be shipwrecked in this home.
